Proposed Amendment to Resolution Would Require Cost-Benefit Analysis of Regulations

A proposed amendment to the Senate Concurrent Resolution on the FY 2014 budget would require the SEC and other federal agencies to conduct a cost-benefit analysis of proposed regulations. The amendment is narrowly tailored to require a cost-benefit analysis of proposed regulations on U.S. manufacturing. The amendment is one of a number of amendments that will be considered as part of the Senate Budget Resolution.
